Lux Real Estate Investments S.A., is a public limited liability company (société anonyme), established under the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It operates as a securitization vehicle (organisme de titrisation), governed by the Securitization Act 2004 of the CSSF.

The company’s office is located at 33 Rue du Puits Romain, L-8070 Bertrange, in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The company is registered with the Luxembourg trade registry (RCS) under number B212871. The Legal Entity Identifier of the Company is 213800CT2MF9SPAK6273. The issued share capital of the Company is 30,000 Euro.


Lux Real Estate Investments SA is a sophisticated investment securitization vehicle, organized under the Luxembourg corporate laws and acting in accordance with the Securitization Act 2004 on Securitization Vehicles. The vehicle is domiciled in Luxembourg, one of world's largest financial centers with "best in class" governance and compliance regulations and tax rulings. Currently in excess of 1500 securitization vehicles have been established in Luxembourg of which the majority are operated by global real estate investment companies. Two decades have now passed since the Luxembourg Law of 22 March 2004 on securitisation (the “Securitisation Law”) came into effect. Enacted in 2004, the Securitisation Law aimed to boost Luxembourg's position as a financial hub by introducing another appealing mechanism for international financial transactions. 

Securitisation, a form of structured financing, involves the transfer of a pool of similar assets, such as loans or receivables, from an "originator" to a securitisation entity. This entity issues securities or other financial instruments to finance the purchase of these assets. The repayment and the interest payments of the issued (asset-backed) securities are then secured exclusively by the transferred assets and the cash flows resulting from these assets. The securitization framework provides the bondholders full protection of their rights and claims..The assets in which the vehicle invests are seggregated and organized in a dedicated legal compartment which remains at all times under strict control of an independent securities trustee ensuring the bondholders retain a senior position on these assets throughout the whole investment period. Bondholders in a specific compartment are protected against claims from other compartment bondholders.
